If you’ve ever felt frustrated that a breakout “goes away” but leaves something behind you’re not imagining it.
What you’re seeing in this graphic is the difference between:
PIH (Post-Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation)
→ Dark spots left behind after inflammation
PIE (Post-Inflammatory Erythema)
→ Red or pink marks caused by damaged blood vessels
Both happen because acne isn’t just a surface issue, it creates inflammation deep within the skin. When that inflammation heals, your skin doesn’t always return to normal right away. Instead, it can leave behind discoloration, redness, or uneven texture.
And here’s the part most people don’t realize:
👉 If acne isn’t treated properly, those marks can linger for months & even longer.
This Is Where We Come In
At Knockout Beauty Bar, we don’t just treat acne, we also treat what acne leaves behind.
Every treatment is customized to:
*Calm inflammation at the source
*Support proper healing (so marks don’t worsen)
*Target pigmentation and redness safely
*Strengthen the skin so future breakouts don’t leave lasting damage
Because clear skin isn’t just about stopping breakouts it’s about restoring your skin back to a healthy, even, confident glow!
The Goal?
Not just “less acne”
…but clear, smooth, even toned skin you feel confident in!
If you’ve been dealing with breakouts, dark marks, or lingering redness, this is exactly what we specialize in.
✨ Your skin can improve with the right plan💗

Why do we need lash extension fills?
If you’ve ever wondered, “Why do I need a lash fill if I still have some extensions left?” — it all comes down to your natural lash growth cycle!
Lash extensions are applied individually to your natural lashes. Since your natural lashes are constantly growing, shedding, and being replaced with a new natural lash, your extensions naturally shed along with them & the new ones do not have an extension on it until we apply it. As you can see in the graphic below we have 3 phases of our lashes Anagen (Baby), Catagen (Adult), Telogen (Older adult). Once the lash gets to the Telogen phase it naturally falls off and an anagen (Baby) phase begins and the cylce continues. Some people have a slower or faster cycle than normal.
So, What Happens Between Lash Appointments?
On average, we naturally lose several lashes every day (Usually 2-4 natural lashes PER eye PER day- with or without extensions). As your natural lashes complete their growth cycle, the lash extension attached to that natural lash falls out too. New natural lashes then grow in without an extension.
That’s why, after a couple of weeks, you may notice your lashes looking a little less full or uneven.
What Is a Lash Fill?
A lash fill replaces the extensions that have naturally shed and fills in the areas where new lashes have grown in. We remove any grown out extensions that need to be replaced and apply new extensions to healthy, appropriate natural lashes.
The goal is to bring your lashes back to that full, fresh, fluffy look without having to start from scratch every time.
How Often Do I Need a Fill?
Most clients come in for a fill about every 2–3 weeks, depending on their natural lash growth cycle, lifestyle, and how well they care for their extensions.
Waiting too long between appointments can mean too many extensions have shed, making a fill take longer or potentially requiring a new full set.
The Bottom Line
Lash fills aren't just about keeping your lashes looking beautiful — they help maintain a clean, balanced and consistent lash look as your natural lashes continue through their growth cycle. We don't want the extension weighing down your natural lash aer if grows out, so we remove (You won't even feel it!) then apply a new extension to make it lower on the lash line :)
Think of your lash extensions like your hair color or nails: regular maintenance keeps everything looking its best!
If you love waking up with beautiful, effortless lashes, keeping your regular fill appointments is the key to maintaining that gorgeous look. ✨
